OTAUTAU DANDIES
CONCERT AT DRUMMOND. (From Our Correspondent.) The “Otautau Dandies” gave a concert at Drummond on Friday evening in aid of the Drummond Hoekey Club. There was a good attendance, ami the good programme presented was thoroughly enjoyed. At its conclusion, Mr Shearer thanked the company for their services and the fine programme presented, which had met with the approval of the audience. He trusted that the “Dandies” would give another concert at some future date. In reply, Mr Cox, on behalf of the company, said the* were only too pleased to assist such a worthy object as the Ladies’ Hockey Club, and the members appreciated the manner in which the various items had been received by the, audience. The programme was as follows: Chorus, company; song and
chorus, Mr T. Stroud; musical monologue. Mr Cox; comic song, Mr A. Coulter; song, Miss V. Bird; sketch, Messrs G. Sinclair, C. Clapp, E. Liddell and T. Stroud; song, Mr C. Clapp; chorus, company; dance, Miss Halpin; song, Miss Westtey; duet, Misses Renowden; song, Mr E. Mclvor; humorous, recitation, Mr Cox; duet, Miss Stroud and Mr Clapp; solo and chorus, Mr E. Liddell; sketch, Messrs A. Coulter, R. Cox, E. Liddell, E. Jellyntan, Misses V. Bird and Wes- ' ney; sone, Miss G. Renowden; song and chorus, Mr Cox; song and chorus, Miss Renowden; song, Miss V. Bird; comic song, Mr A. Coulter; song, Miss Wesney; dance. Miss Halpin; song, Mr Clapp; song and chorus, Mr Ireland; chorus, company. The . accompaniments were played by Miss Renowden and Mr Jellyntan (piano), and Mr D. Roberts (banjo).
