FOUND SHOT

OFFICIAL AT THE OLD BAILEY. London, April 21. Sir Herbert Austin, clerk of the Central Criminal Court, whose knowledge of criminal law was unrivalled, was found shot dead in his office at the Old Bailey, with a revolver near by. He occupied his accustomed seat in the Court on Friday. He had spent 40 years at the Old Bailey in its atmosphere of drama and tragedy.—Australian Press Association.
