QUEENSLAND TRAGEDY
CHINESE STOREKEEPER MURDERED.
(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Brisbane, April 21. A Chinese storekeeper, Charlie Hong, was murdered at Bercaldine with great ferocity. His head was smashed. A woman customer saw a man hurrying away from Hong’s store. She discovered Hong in a shocking condition on the floor and informed the police.—Australian Press Association.
