PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a special meeting of the Invercargill Borough Council, held on the 22nd January, 1929, a resolution was passed for a Special Order as follows: — SPECIAL ORDER. The Invercargill Borough Council in pursuance of Section 24 of The Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1928, hereby resolves by Special Order to grant to The Vacuum Oil Company Proprietary Limited a license, determinable by either party giving to the other six months’ notice in writing, to lay and use a line of conduit pipes for petroleum under and along Spey Street to the premises in the dangerous goods area, Block 77, Town of Invercargill, now held by the Company under lease from the Corporation of the Borough of Invercargill, registered No. 7585, such license to be subject tp the conditions to be set out in an agreement, granting the license, including the payment of a fee of £2 per annum payable in advance without right of apportionment or refund. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation as a special order at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at the Town Hall, Tay Street, on Tuesday, the 26th day of February, 1929, at 8 o’clock p.m. Jv774 C.
