OCEAN BEACH

SALE OF FREEZING WORKS. NEW INTERESTS TAKE OVER. Of late rumour has been rife concerning the sale of the Ocean Beach Freezing Works, and the following statement made by Mr R. A. Anderson, of Messrs J. G. Ward and Co., Ltd., is of considerable provincial interest: “The Federal Steam Navigation Company, who have owned the Ocean Beach Freezing Works for the last quarter of a century, have now disposed of them to Sims, Cooper and Co., Ltd., of Christchurch, Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., of Invercargill, and J. G. Ward and Co., of Invercargill. J. G-. Ward and Co., who have been managing agents continuously for the Federal Steam Navigation Company, will continue to act in that capacity.”
