LUGANO CONFERENCE
CRITICISM BY GERMAN PRESS. Berlin, December 16. The Nationalist newspapers regard the results of the Lugano Conference as extremely poor and say it has been clearly proved that an unbridgeable gulf continues. The Kreuz Zeitung says that not the slightest progress has been made on the subjects of reparations and disarmament, and promises of a future solution are worthless. The Deutsche Zeitung considers Dr Stresemann is politically dead as he has sacrificed German policy to bottomless illusions.—Australian Press Association-United Service.
