Ministerial. The Hon. P. A. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, arrived in Invercargill by the late express on Saturday. Mr T. Fleming left for Timaru by the first express on Saturday. Mr. Adam Hamilton, M.P., arrived in Invercargill by the first express from the north on Saturday. Mr J. S. Nelson, rector of the Winton District High School, left for Gisborne by the express last evening. Bishop Richards, who has been visiting Invercargill, returned to Dunedin by the express on Saturday afternoon. Sergeant Major Stewart returned from a refresher course at Wainakura by the express on Saturday morning. Mr W. C. manageing editor of the Auckland Star, arrived in Invercargill by the express from Christchurch on Saturday and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. P. Brett, manager of the New Zealand Press Agency in London, arrived in Invercargill by the first express on Saturday and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Major H. D. McHugh, who has been attending the officers’ refresher course at Wainakarua, returned to Invercargill by the express on Saturday morning. Mr A. A. Wilkinson, who has been on the clerical staff of the Railway Department at Bluff for the past three and a-half years, has resigned from his post and leaves shortly for Christchurch to take up other work. _________________
