QUESTION IN COMMONS. London, November 19. Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister negatively answered Commander Bellairs’ question in the House of Commons whether he was aware that all parties desire to prevent competition from and consumption of sweated goods and whether he would obtain a report on the wages, hours, and health conditions in the Levant dried fruit trade.—Australian Press Association—United Service.
