OPENING OF WELLINGTON SERIES. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 13. The first wool sale of the season 1928-29 will be held at the town hall on Friday. Unfortunately owing to the inclement weather preventing shearing operations during the past week, the quantity of wool to be offered totals only 7,775 bales against 9.083 bales at the November sale last year. This is believed to be the smallest catalogue offered at the first sale of the season for many years.
