WAIHI STRIKE

MR SEMPLE’S POSITION. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 12. Mr T. Forsyth, M.P., a candidate for Wellington East, in the course of an address, quoted from the files of the Evening Post to show that although Mr Robert Semple was not in New Zealand when the strike began, he arrived within 14 days and addressed meetings in New Zealand urging the strikers to stand firm.
