POLITICS IN RUMANIA

NEW GOVERNMENT SWORN IN. Bucharest, November 11. The Maniu Government has been sworn in and Parliament dissolved. Dr. Maniu was cheered with the wildest enthusiasm after the formation of his Ministry. He is regarded as the liberator of the country from the regime of a Dictatorship. Dr. Maniu, in receiving pressmen, voluntarily promised an immediate removal of the censorship, an unfettered election in December, a continuity of the foreign policy and an early revision of the tariff, retaining only essential duties.—Australian Press Association.
