ROCKDALE TRAGEDY
SURVIVOR IN CRITICAL CONDITION. (Rec. 10.15 p.m.) Sydney, November 2. The police are having trouble in gathering evidence in the Rockdale tragedy owing to the sole survivor, Joseph Palmer, being unconscious and in a critical condition. Neighbours were wholly unaware of the shooting. The funerals of the four victims are to-morrow. Robb had recently developed peculiar habits which had been observed by a local tobacconist with whom he did business. Robb’s farm was leased and he was not in financial difficulties.—Australian Press Association.
