BLUFF v. TURAKINA’S OFFICERS. (From Our Correspondent.) On Thursday evening the Bluff Cricket Club played a friendly match with the deck and engine room officers of the Tur akin a, then in port. The visitors batted first and compiled 91 the chief scorer being Fisher, who put up a creditable 47. McGregor scored 17 and Captain Field made 12 not out. The bowling honours were divided between Rae, Silvester and Anderson. Bluff compiled 73 for nine wickets, when owing to the failing light stumps were drawn, the game thus resulting in a draw. The chief scorers were D. Parry (30) and S. Harland (14). The Bluff wickets fell to Fisher and McGregor.
