DISCUSSION AT WELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, October 16. The immigration question, as affecting New Zealand, was discussed to-day, when representatives of 40 or 50 societies which approached Mr Amery on the subject some months ago met Mr Skevington, who took the place of Lord Lovat, who is indisposed The Hon. A. D. McLeod was present. The principal speaker was Mr A. Leigh Hunt, who advocated opening the way for large companies at Home to take up land development by immigrants as a commercial enterprise.
