DIAMONDS SEIZED

SMUGGLING IN SOUTH AFRICA. TRADE CRISIS FEARED. Cape Town, October 13. The Government has seized large quantities of diamonds, which were smuggled from the Nam aqualand State diggings. The seizure was followed by five arrests. It is reported that diamonds are obtainable from natives to an estimated value of £70,000.
