KING AT BALMORAL

GROUSE SHOOTING BY DAY. LOVER OF OPEN AIR LIFE. London, August 21. King George is enjoying only fair sport on the Scottish grouse moors as the weather earlier in the year affected the birds. His Majesty begins the day at Balmoral Castle soon after 6 a.m. He deals with a large mail and then goes out of doors as early as possible, remaining out until late in the afternoon. He loves the open air life. He frequently entertains his sporting neighbours to dinner. The King spends the evening listening to wireless broadcasts.
