KETCH ASHORE

PASSENGERS AND CREW SAFE. Vancouver, July 13. The ketch Oaxaca, owned and sailed by Mr Hancock, backer of the Southern Cross, went ashore on the rocks on Friday at Wrangel Narrows and is high and dry. The 15 passengers and 35 of a crew are believed to be safe.—Australian Press Association.
