POWELL—At Invercargill, on Sunday, July 15, 1928, Charles Joseph, the dearly beloved husband of Eliza Powell; aged 78 years. The funeral will leave his late residence, 75 Frederick Street, South Invercargill, on Tuesday, 17th inst., at 2.30 p.m. for the Eastern Cemetery. Friends please accept this (the only) intimation.—J. Fraser & Co., Undertakers. GALLAGHER—At Waimea West, Nelson, on Saturday, July 14, 1928, James H., relict of the late Mary Gallagher, Wairio. R.I.P. The funeral will take place to-day (Monday), leaving Invercargill after arrival of early express, for Nightcaps Cemetery.
