SPEED RECORD ATTEMPT. Rugby, July 11. Captain Malcolm Campbell, the famous racing motorist, after searching along the British coasts and on the coast of Denmark for a suitable place for attempting to break the world’s land speed record, has decided to make the attempt in the Syrian desert in the autumn.—British Official Wireless.
