The furnaces once lit will be kept at full blast, 2,250 degrees Fahrenheit, day and night for a year in order to obtain the maximum production of 1000 tons of ore monthly. The company is a British one formed to meet the increasing output of Empire ore. £500,000 worth of ore can be stored at the works.—Australian Press Association.
