BURGLARS BUSY
THREE CASES AT AUCKLAND. (P$- United Press Association.) Auckland, June 29. Three burglaries were committed in the suburbs last night. Jewellery valued at £3O was stolen from the dwelling of Misses Paterson at Royaloak during the absence of the owners. A shop at Birkenhead kept by Mrs Hawkins was entered and cigarettes and tobacco valued at £4O stolen. The butchers shop of D. Hislop and Company at Onehunga was ransacked by burglars but nothing was taken, the management in view of a previous burglary at the -shop having taken the precaution of removing all the cash.
