Following successful arbitration in one of the strangest industrial cases on record, five young New Jersey women who are suffering from radium poisoning, and who are doomed to die shortly will each receive £lO,OOO. The judge acting as referee betweens officials of the U.S. Radium Corporation and counsel for the women, reached a basis of £2OOO immediate payment to each litigant.
