CONVERSION OF MOTOR TRUCK ALLEGED. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, June 18. A charge against a young man of converting to his own use a motor truck valued at £l7O was dismissed in the Police Court and the name suppressed. The owner of the truck confessed that the truck had not been stolen at all, but he told the police that story in order to avoid responsibility when the truck collided with a safety zone.
