HIGH AVERAGE ATTAINED. London, May 28. Kaye Don, starting off scratch and driving a Sunbeam, won the 25-mile Gold Star Handicap at Brooklands, averaging 128.36 miles hourly—a Brooklands record. He also broke Parry Thomas’ lap record with 131.76 miles an hour.—Australian Press Association—United Service.
