MONEY MISSING

SECRETARY ARRESTED. (Per United Press Association.) Rotorua, May 29. Leslie Vickers, a well-known resident, and secretary of various concerns, has been arrested on a charge of failing to account for the sum of £6 19/4. The police asked for and obtained a remand on the grounds that other sums aggregating a large amount were alleged to be involved. Bail was granted, self in the sum of £5OO, and two sureties of £250 each.
