MOTORIST FINED
INTOXICATED IN CHARGE OF CAR. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, May 28. Thomas Williams, aged 23, was fined £25 at the Police Court to-day and his motor driving license was cancelled for twelve months. Williams pleaded guilty to a charge of being intoxicated while driving a motor car. Sub-Inspector McCarthy said that accused had a slight collision with a train late on Saturday evening. He was not drunk but was too intoxicated to be driving a motor car.
