THE EDUCATION BOARD having 1 declared the Elections of School Committees in the Districts of Balfour and Kapuka as held on the 23rd April last, to be invalid, and further, Householders in the School Districts of Aparima, Arrowtown, Athol, Birchwood, Browns, Cardrona, Castle Rock, Chatton East, Chatton North, Croydon, Eastern Bush. East Limehills, Feldwick, Fernhills, Fortification, Garston, Granity, Greenvale, Heddon Bush, Hedgehope Upper, Kaiwera, Longridge North, Longridge Village, Lora Gorge, Mokoreta, Motu-Rimu, Niagara. Nokomai, Otahu, Otama, Pine Bush, Round Hill, Ruahine, Slope Point, Te Tipua, Te Tua, Te Wae Wae, Thornbury, Waihoaka, Waikawa, Waikouro and Woodlands having failed to elect School Committees on the statutory day set apart for that purpose, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Education Board has fixed MONDAY, 18th June, 1928, at 7.30 p.m. as the date and hour and the Schoolhouse in each of the abovementioned Districts as the place, for the election of a School Committee in each of the aforesaid School Districts. Proceedings at this election will be conducted as in the case of an annual election, and as provided for in “The Education Act, 1914.” The first meeting of each newly-elected Committee will be held on the same evening immediately after the election.
