SIR DOUGLAS MAWSON
GERMAN HONOUR CONFERRED. Berlin, May 25. The German Geographical Society has bestowed the Nachtigall gold medal on Sir Douglas Mawson in recognition of his explorations in the Antarctic on which he has just lectured at the society’s centenary celebrations—Australian Press Association —United Service.
