CHASED THROUGH THE NIGHT. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, May 25. H. Walmsley, a railway employee occupying a fiat in Park Road, was awakened last night by a burglar in his bedroom. He gave chase clad in his pyjamas, and came to grips with the runaway, who escaped after a scuffle, bolting into the hospital grounds. A search showed that 17/6 had been stolen from Walmsley’s pockets. The intruder in his hurried exit left an overcoat behind.
