TERRIFIC HEAT
DEATHS ON BOARD SHIPS. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, May 23. Two Australians, Logs and Han, succumbed to apoplexy on the Osterley during terrific heat in the Indian Ocean and Red Sea. Both were going to England on a visit. When the Osterley reached Plymouth the passengers were fortifying themselves wnh rugs and overcoats against the biting cold.—Australian Press Association.
