BUTTER AND CHEESE

The Federal Ministry was considering a proposal to establish a dairy research institute under the leadership of a bacteriologist. The Victorian Dairy Superintendent said that Victoria was tightening up the Dairy Act with a view to ensuring the very best cream as factories were unable to manufacture first quality butter from contaminated cream.—Press Association.
