EGYPT-INDIA ROUTE. AGREEMENT WITH PERSIA. Rugby. May 14. Sir Austen Chamberlain announced the conclusion of an agreement with Persia whereby the Persian Government had expressed willingness to enter into negotiations with the British Imperial Airways Company regarding conditions under which air services between Egypt and India should be operated. He added that he had taken the opportunity of expressing the satisfaction of the British Government at the agreement reached. —British Offical Wireless. A MILLIONAIRE’S VENTURE. London, May 14. Van Lear Klack, a Dutch-American millionaire, left Croydon on a 40,000 mile flight to Tokio and back at 6.33 this morning. During his flight Klack will visit 19 countries, centres of industries where he is interested. His route will be Venice to Cairo and thence to Capetown.
