WYNDHAM NOTES

FORESTRY. (From Our Correspondent.) The fortnightly meeting and half-yearly installation of officers of Court Royal Oak Ancient Order of Foresters U.O.D. was held iin the Odd Fellows Hall, Wyndham, on Monday evening, C.R. Bro. Norman Dobbie presiding over a good attendance of members. During the evening the order paper for the annual meeting of the district to be held in Invercargill at Easter was presented and thoroughly discussed by the members, and the delegates were instructed how to act with same. The installation of officers for the ensuing term of six months was as follows: P.C.R.’s Bros. A. A. Wilson Senr. and L. Harley carrying out the duties of installing officers; 1.P.C.R., Bro. Norman Dobbie; C.R., Sister G. G. Wilson; S.C.R., Bro. A. E. Ireland; S.W., Bro. Allan Davey; J. W., Sister C. Stevenson; S. B. Bro. Peter Burns; J. 8., Bro. Janies McCallum; secretary, Bro. A. A. Wilson Snr; treasurer, Bro. L. Harley. At the conclusion of the business part of the meeting, a social was held the time being devoted to dancing and music, excellent music being supplied by Mesdames A. Strang, H. C. Grace and L. Harley and Mr John Winn. The duties of floor master were carried out by Bro. Harley.
