CHICAGO MAYOR’S OOMPLAINT. (Rec. 11 p.m.) Washington, March 24. “Big Bill” Thompson’s anti-British virus has penetrated to Congress where Representative Black offered a resolution asking for the appropriation of 5000 dollars to conduct a Congressional investigation into an American history book to determine if any anti-American bias exists due to the influence of foreign propaganda. He said that if histories were tainted with British propaganda, as charged, steps should be taken to remove the taint.—A. and N.Z.
