The Balfour A team has been declared the winner of the Campbell Cup for this season by the Northern District Tennis Association. The matches which were postponed throughout the season have still to be played, but the result of these games will have no bearing on the decision for the cup. The matter of dates for the above matches is left with the chibs concerned to arrange. At the meeting of the association held last week it was decided to hold a doubles tournament at Riveredale on March 3 entries to cloee on the 28th inat. Messrs Gee (Riversdale), Robertson (Waikaia) and Carmody (Balfour) were appointed handicappers for the tourney. Arrangements similar to those in connection with the singles tourney held at Freshford recently, were made for the forthcoming event at Rivcrsdele. It was also decided that an effort be made to play a return match with Eastern and to make arrangements for district marches with Western and town as soon as possible.
