PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH RECEIVES LARGE GRANT. (Per United Press Association.) Levin, January 26. Under the will of the late Mrs Charlotte Shaw, of Levin, a number of bequests were made to various religions and charitable institutions. These include £lOO to the Home for the Aged and Needy, Wellington; £2OO to Dr. Barnado’s Homes, London; £lOO to the Salvation Army Rescue Home, Wellington. A sum in excess of £3,000 is divided in varying proportions between the Presbyterian Church at Levin and the following activities of the Presbyterian Church; Foreign Missions, New Hebrides Mission, Home Mission Extension and the Orphanage.
