BUTTER POOL

DAIRY BOARD’S PAYMENTS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 13. A first supplementary payment of £350,000 in respect of the second butter pool has been made by the Dairy Board to factories. This brings the amount approximately to 1/2J per lb. It is expected a further payment of about seven-eighths of a penny per lb may be made if present market levels continue. A supplementary payment of £115,000 on cheese ie also made, but nothing further can be reckoned on just yet.
