FROST IN DUNEDIN

EIGHT DEGREES REGISTERED. MAINS FROZEN IN OTAGO CENTRAL. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, July 1. Eight degrees of frost were experienced in Dunedin last night. In Otago Central the water mains were frozen. The railway tanks were so frozen at Clyde and Cromwell that they had to be refilled from the borough mains by a hose hydrant from a fire plug.
