SITTING AT GORE. At a sitting of the Gore Magistrate’s Court yesterday afternoon, Mr H. J. Dixon S.M. presiding, judgment by default was given for plaintiffs in the following undefended civil claims:—lsabella Cowie v. James Cowie for £8 14/6, with costs £1 9/-; John Casey v. Henry Hall for £l5 5/-, with costs £2 14/-; J. G. Ward and Co. v. Hugh Junor and John Junor for £52 4/11, with costs £5 12/6; J. W. Smith and E Coomer v. James Knight for £5B 10/-, with costs £5 1/6; Gormack and Pettigrew Ltd v. T. A. White for £6 11/9, with costs £1 11/6; William Hyne v. H. Blair, for costs 8/-. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. In a judgment summons case J. McKenna v. Thomas Moffatt for £l5 6/4, the Magistrate refused to make an order. No order was made in a case W. Leishman v. T. Moffatt for £5 12/6.
