PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland Electric Power Board intends, at the ordinary meeting of the Board to be held at the Board’s Office situate at Dee Stret, Invercargill, on TUESDAY, the TWELFTH day of JULY, 1927, at 11.30 a.m. to make and levy a uniform general rate under Section 56 of the Electric Power Boards Act, 1925, for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1927, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1928, of three-fourths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Southland Electric Power District on the basis of the unimproved value. AND THAT such rate with respect to each rateable property within the said Electric Power District will be payable at the office of the local authority of the constituent district within which such property is situate.
