ECLIPSE OF THE SUN
YORKSHIRE VILLAGE THRONGED. (Rec. 8 pjn.) London, June 16. The small Yorkshire village of Giggleswick consisting of 800 inhabitants has leapt into sudden fame, because it is right in the path of the totality of the sun’s eclipse on June 29. Already the village is thronged with visitors frtffti all ovei Europe and it is anticipated there will be in the village 60,000 on the day of the eclipse. Accommodation has been arranged for 5000 cars And char-a-bancs.—A. and N.Z.
