WORKERS’ UNION FLOUTED. FACTIONS AMONG THE STRIKERS. (Per United Press Association.) Hamilton, June 17. The Arapuni Strike Executive ignored the second telegram from the. New Zealand Workers’ Union headquarters last night ordering them to resume work. The men remained idle to-day but advice received tonight is that there is a prospect of settlement through the efforts of Messrs Bishop (Employers’ Federation), Hally (Conciliation Commissioner) and Baxter (Engineers* Secretary). Some strike leaders are at variance and different factions have ariaeq among the workers.
