RIFLE SHOOTING
BALFOUR v WAIKAIA. (From Our Correspondent.) On Monday last the Waikaia team journeyed to Balfour to shoot a return match with the local team and after a keen contest the visitors proved victorious by the narrow margin of 11 points. Afternoon tea was supplied by the local team. After the match Mr D. McDonald, president of the Balfour Club, thanked the visitors for their attendance. Mr J. Dennis replying for Waikaia thanked the Balfour Club for the hospitality they had received. The following are the scores (13 shot in each team, 10 scores to count):— WAIKAIA.
