THEFT CASES
OFFENDERS IN DUNEDIN COURT. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, June 14. Joseph Martin Rogers, aged 50, a clerk, charged with stealing £lB from a cash box, was admitted to two years’ probation and a prohibition order was issued against him. It was shown that accused who had been employed by Wise and Co. had been drinking and broke open the box. John James Stubley, charged with obtaining a trumpet valued at £37 by false pretences, was sentenced to three months' gaol. Accused, who was arrested at Nelson, was already on probation.
