CANADA v. NEW ZEALAND. HOME SIDE FOR FIRST TEST. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 13. The sole selector, B. L. Salmon, announces that the following team will represent New Zealand in the first test match against Canada, at Dunedin, on June 25; McDougall (Canterbury). Anderson (Otago). McGirr (Wellington). Baxter (Auckland). Steere (Buller). Jones (Auckland), captain. Innes (Auckland). Newman (Buller). Spencer (Auckland). Hislop (Auckland). Balk (Otago). Emergencies:—Braithwaite (Otago) and McCormack (Otago). The team assembles at Dunedin on the Tuesday before the match. Special arrangements have been made for practice.. H. R. Graves is manager.
