ON THE ROCKS. Another vessel has been driven on the rocks. The captain and crew were lucks to reach the shore alive, where they huddled through the night in the shelter of the beetling cliffs. Fortunately one of the crew had his pouch of tobacco unharmed by the buffeting of the elements, and soon the men were contentedly puffing away. “My word!” explaimed the Captain. “This is grand tobacco. I bet it s expensive. “Well, it isn’t!” answered the sailor. “It’s Bears’ Cut Plug, only 8d an ounce!” “Then we’ll all get some,” they all shouted. And later: They did!—(Advt.)
