GROWTH OF ROTARY

IMPRESSIVE RECITAL OF PROGRESS, (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, June 11. The closing of the Rotary Convention at Ostend was marked by impressive recitals of the progress made in each country. The honorary Special Commissioner, PastPresident Holtz, recounted the growth of fifteen Australian clubs with 879 members, from whom the Rotary spirit was spreading vigorously and with great results. Rotary was also advancing in New Zealand, where sixteen clubs had 802 members. It would give Rotary a great fillip if such a convention as this were held at the Antipodes.— A. and N.Z.
