DAIRY PRODUCE
MARKET ALLEGED TO BE WEAK. MR GROUNDS DECLINES TO COMMENT. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, June 10. Mr W. Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Produce Board, declined to comment on a statement that the dairy market was weak because buyers had withdrawn, resenting the tactics of the board in withholding stocks. “We know the market for both butter and cheese has weakened during the past week,” Mr Grounds said. “However, I have received advice to-night that both markets are now firming after the weakening tendency.”
