The game of golf is growing in popularity in the district and a meeting is to be held to draw up rules and regulations. The club is fortunate in securing the services of another good player in the person of Mr Grant, of the Lands and Survey Department, who expects to be in the district for a few months. The members of the Ladies’ Hockey team meet Riversdale in the last match of the first round on Saturday. The team has an unbeaten record to date and the fact that the Riversdale seven defeated the Lumsden seven at. Gore on June 3 lends added interest to the match.
