FIRE IN HOTEL
DAMAGE FROM SMOKE AND WATER. (Per United Press Association.) Feilding, June 8. A fire was discovered in the staff's quarters at Denbigh Hotel this afternoon. The brigade quickly had the fire under control but much damage was done by smoke and water. The premises are owned by Mr W. Hook and the licensee is Mr Macpherson. A coincidence is that a fire occurred in the same wing of the building some years ago resulting in similar damage. The building is of brick.
